Description

In this page a short introduction will be given to developing a Futurama application using the Futurama Editor.

Developing an application

When developing a new application in Futurama the first step that has to be taken is to create a new Document. A Document can be compared to a Word document or an Excel Workbook and forms the basis for any Futurama application. Next is the development of the application proper. Any Futurama application consists of objects which can perform all kinds of tasks such as making calculations, import data, export results, creating interactive elements on a website etc. Objects can refer to or be referred to by other objects making Futurama a very flexible development tool. Working with objects will therefore be essential for every developer.
