Introduction

In this tutorial we'll show you how you can use XSLT to display data on your website.

Prerequisites

- The Futurama Editor must be installed.

- Futurama Runtime must be installed.

- Completing the tutorial Multiple Pages and Navigation first, is recommended.

Description

In the previous tutorial, we added a second webpage to our website. In this tutorial, we will fill this page with an overview of the input and the resultst of our calculations.

For that, XSLT is used. We already created to XSLT-files that will be used. We create an XMLBuilder in both the left- and right-panel, and add the objects that are referred to in the XSLT-files.

We end up with the - for now - final result of our Safe2Save website. It consists of two pages. On the first page, the user can submit his or her cash balance and (expected) interest rate, and see the results, as a number, and visualised in a graph. On the second page, an overview is given of the in- and output of the website.

Remarks

  • In this tutorial one or more prefabricated files are used. You can make use of these files by downloading the end result of the tutorial series here.
